1. Acceptance and Scope

These SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions (“SMS Terms”) govern your enrollment in and use of text-message communications from Newton’s Law PA (“Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By providing your mobile phone number and affirmatively opting in (for example, by checking a consent box on a form or texting a designated keyword), you agree to these SMS Terms in addition to our Privacy Policy.

2. Consent and Authorization

By opting in, you authorize the Firm to send recurring automated marketing, informational, and account-related text messages to the mobile number you provided, using an automatic telephone dialing system or similar technology. Your consent is not a condition of hiring the Firm or receiving legal services.

Upon opting in, you may receive a confirmation message. Message frequency varies and may include both regularly scheduled and triggered messages.

3. No Legal Advice; No Attorney-Client Relationship

SMS communications from the Firm are for informational and marketing purposes only and do not constitute legal advice. Receipt of SMS messages from the Firm does not create an attorney-client relationship. Do not send confidential or time-sensitive information by text message. An attorney-client relationship is formed only through a written engagement letter executed by the Firm after appropriate conflicts checks.

4. Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply based on your wireless carrier and plan. Newton’s Law PA is not responsible for carrier rates or charges. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Opt-Out (STOP)

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from the Firm at any time by replying STOP, CANCEL, END, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any message from us. After we receive your opt-out request, you will receive a final confirmation message and will not receive further SMS communications from us unless you opt in again.

6. Help and Support (HELP)

For assistance, reply HELP to any SMS message from us, contact us at info@newtonslawusa.com, or call +1 (561) 464-4529. We will respond with contact information and opt-out instructions.

7. Transfer or Reassignment of Mobile Number

If you change, transfer, or deactivate your mobile number, please notify us by replying STOP from your previous number, by emailing info@newtonslawusa.com, or by using any unsubscribe mechanism we provide. This helps prevent messages from reaching the next holder of your former number.

8. Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with SMS communications is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at https://www.newtonslawusa.com/privacy-policy/. We do not share SMS opt-in data or consent with third parties for their marketing purposes.

9. Carrier Disclosure

Our SMS messaging program supports U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

10. Compliance with Laws and Jurisdictions

Newton’s Law PA maintains offices and provides legal services in Florida and Illinois. SMS communications are intended to comply with applicable U.S. federal law (including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and CAN-SPAM Act where applicable), the CTIA short-code and 10DLC messaging guidelines, and applicable state-bar advertising and professional-responsibility rules. SMS content is general in nature and may not apply to your specific legal matter or jurisdiction.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify or terminate the SMS messaging program or these SMS Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by an updated “Last Updated” date and, where required by applicable law, additional notice. Continued participation in the SMS messaging program after the effective date of a revised version of these SMS Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised SMS Terms.
